My mission is to write engaging SEO friendly B2B content that captures leads and moves them down the sales funnel

I do that by using my 360 insights into the B2B buyer’s journey to write content that, not only engages, but also educates and influences.

Those 360 insights come from working two decades in both Procurement and Sales.

As a professional buyer, I didn’t want to read overtly biased content that tried to hoodwink me into making a decision that suited the seller, but not necessarily my stakeholders. I know what that kind of content looks like, and it feels icky.

What I really wanted was engaging content that quickly brought me up to speed and gave me information that helped make better sourcing decisions. That’s the kind of content I was comfortable sharing with the rest of the Decision Making Unit. And it helped us determine who to shortlist.

I’ve made it my mission to bring about more impactful content like that in the world. So, I launched my writing business, Content Impact Ltd. One of my assignments was for the largest translation agency in the world, RWS. And I’ve also appeared as a guest on podcasts to share my insights about how professional buyers buy, and how to sell to them.

But I also know what approaches resonate with other business functions. As a professional buyer, I’ve studied the thought processes, motivations and fears of stakeholders in the Decision Making Unit, whatever business function they come from – R&D, Marketing, Sales, Legal, HR… you name it.

I focus on B2B content because it aligns with my passion and experience. I’ve studied business (MBA) and engineering (M.Eng.), and worked in global organisations. I’ve also worked as a management consultant across multiple sectors.

Besides writing B2B content, I have a passion for health and fitness in various forms – karate, mindfulness, yoga, body weight training and the Wim Hof method. I live in Nottingham – home to Robin Hood, the Sheriff of Nottingham and the Sherwood Forest.
